The Wastes

Oogala: Is a village of Kuo-toa. They worship all sorts of minor gods, and a few of their warriors have accepted Gruun worship. The rest, including the priests have accepted Gruun’s power, but this is likely just lip service.

Vengen: Is a village of Lizardfolk. They have taken on Gruun worship, and pay tribute to Indell Keep. They need protection from the orc hordes to the south, and raids from the gnolls infesting the black bluffs.

Modalus:  This is a human and half-orc settlement. Some of their members view Gruun favorably, but the rest follow Gruumsh and retain strong ties to the orcs of the south.

Bamma: This is a settlement of humans and half-orcs. They are closely aligned with Indell Keep, and staunch Gruun followers. They are constantly battling the roving orc clans to the east.

Hammer Hold: This is a Dwarf city of deep mines running into the hills. Some of them trade with Indell, but overall, they are secretive.

Karhold: A village of humans and half-elves. Communication has gone dark.

Bodartia: A village on the outskirts of the desert made up of humans, goblins, kobolds, half-orcs, gnolls, and a smattering over other races. This was the main 'center' for adventurers in the wastes before the Waste Lords came to occupy Indell Keep.

Wilden Woods:  Is inhabited by wild elves, who do not welcome trespassers. They don’t like civilization and there are some who believe they have ceased worship of Corellan. It is quite possible they have allied themselves with the Shadow Cult.

Count Drake's Study

Count Drake ushers you three into his strangely small and personal private study room.
"Gentlemen I'm afraid this is not as salubrious as my other rooms, but it affords us a high level of privacy, if you know what I mean," at this Drake taps the side of his nose. "I am obviously protected against such snooping, but I am afraid I cannot speak for you gentlemen. Therefore it is prudent for all of us to discuss the following matters in the security of my reading room."

Procession moves through the city to "The Mirth that Counts."
Glas and Koge get into the coach and great Maximus.
Procession goes through the city. Gets to the Western wall. Gates are locked. Guards all along.
Get to the Wizard's Council. Krylsteln comes out and gets in the coach.
All greet each other.
All enter the Count's keep and greet the Count. Glas sings a beautiful song about being invited and the Count is mightily impressed.
The count assures us the 'preparations have been made' regarding the threat of the doppleganger.
Count Drake maintaing appearances
Glas does a gather information. Koge stands awkwardly by herslef.
Krylsteln scans the room, sees an invisible rogue behind the Count's throne.
Glas finds that a leader of the merchant's guild is seeing one of the Count's concubines.
Glas casts entices a fat merchant to give him a giant ruby ring.
Glas sings a song with a 32 performance. The room is abuzz with his praise. The Count asks Glas to tell a joke, who does a 22. Everyone laughs.
The Count goes to the Dais and tells everyone to enjoy themselves. He sits down.
K keeps an eye on the dude behind the throne.
His chief concubine comes and sits next to him. The invisible guy whispers in the Count's ear.
Glas blackmails the merchant.
M is talking to other gladiators. One is Neega, who killed M's friend unnecessarily.
Glas casts Bull's str on M and Koge.
The dancers come out and do a masterful performance.
The rogue is ready to cast a spell.
The dancers dance. The main girl's skills decrease as she gets close to the dais.
Nothing happens, and they head out.
The Count maintains a poker face.
The rogue behind the throne has stopped readying spell.
Party winds down. Count dismisses everyone, then invites some people to an after party. many people leave. A few congregate in front of the dais.
Guido Oskey is also in front of the dais. So too is the blackmailed merchant, the lead dancer, Kevorkian, Madak, and several others. Count says "Gentlemen, the festivities are not over."
Invites them to the private arena.
The chamberlain invites our group as well.
Glas casts stoneskin on Koge.
K and G ready action to cast shield on selves.
We head into the private arena.
There are several gladiators preparing.
The count is in the host's residence. Guido Oskey is with him.
We are in observation room M 20.
We hear a trumpet.
We are 25 feet up from arena floor.
From the north gate, four minotaurs enter. They look rabid. Perhaps juiced on something.
They all hide behind boulders.
Slave looking humans enter from the south. The count and everyone laugh.
8 humans enter. No weapons.
Count gives a signal.
THe minotaurs pounce on the humans with their battle axes. 4 guys are cut down. Last four run around. Minotaurs chase them. The count and Guido are laughing. Madak is not impressed. Nor Kevorkian.
Final guy is cornered and then butcher him before the Count.
Maximus says "this is not like any even I've seen here. It gets better."
The rogue guy is no longer invisible, and is next to Guido.
Juiced Minotaur
Count calls out "That was just a taste. First, I issue a challenge to the heroes of Scornubel."
G casts Fly, shield, and stoneskin on himself.
M puts deathblade on his dagger. Then dragon bile on this greatsword.
K casts shield, stoneskin, mage armor, and greater spectral hand.
G tells the party to not attack the minotaur on the left.
