Half
a dozen small villages lie along the upper vales of the White River.
Together, they make up the Barony of Harkenwold—a tiny realm whose total
population is not much greater than 2000. Harkenwold is a small barony
in the southeast reach of the Nentir Wood. Although officially bearing
allegiance to the Duchy of Sombar, in practice, Harkenwold has long
governed itself. Several tiny hamlets and a number of steadings
(isolated farms) are scattered across the broad dale of the White River.
The great Harken Forest surrounds the realm, isolating it from the
lands nearby. This quiet backwater contently avoids major trouble.

Instructions from Stromm:
Be as careful as you can--of course. We still do not know much about the artifact. Shine's report says it should be light enough to carry, but I wouldn't advise trying to use it. From the little we know, it takes several people to use, and it is highly probable that it is cursed as well. Get in, and take it. If all goes according to plan, we will be able to defeat these cultists and destroy them utterly. However, if we are unsuccessful, we need you to at least get out with the artifact.

Tales of Indell Keep
Although the party's actual time within the keep between excursions has been brief, you have all found that its residents have a tendency to gossip.
True to his reputation, Shine seems to have created an extensive system of disguises and personas, that seem to have kept his identity a secret to most of the inhabitants of the keep. Though the were never necessarily 'friendly,' being reunited with Krylsteln, as well as enjoying the affable Glaskanon with whom he shares a sense of humor, he has opened up to you. With what seems almost a sense of relief, he tells you all about the extensive guises and misdirections he has established to almost monopolize trade within the keep.
