I was browsing through things to do in Tokyo as I sit here with nothing to do in my last week of work, and I found this: http://www.meetup.com/Castle-Tintagel/ -- it's a medival martail arts group. Next lesson: 15th century german longsword! Maybe they can teach us lightning bold techniques as well!
